I know this is a really weird question but its stressing me out loads since I opened the shop (which has only been open a few days so far).
Pricing tattoos has always been very difficult for me. I try to price them by the hour so its fair for everyone but I am a pretty slow artist and I like to take my time.

To my fellow tattoo artists, how much do you charge by the hour? Do you feel guilty when a tattoo takes longer than you quoted and you have to ask for more money? Do you even ask for more money in this situation? Im normally crippled by guilt so I dont ask for more.
People keep telling me that my tattoos are too inexpensive but I just dont know what to say!

My hourly rate is £50. Im not going to do the direct $ conversion because 1) Its a lot more than £ and 2) USA guys seem to get more for less money E.G. I wanted to by a DBZ DVD boxset. It would cost me about $70. If I lived in the USA, it costs about $30 >_>; The UK is such a rip off!
If I was in the same situation, paying the same for everything just living in the US, Id probably ask for $50.
